Pesta Kaamatan Kg Bingkor Lama (9hb Jun 2007)

Got these pictures from a friend of mine dari Bingkor, Keningau. Saya sendiri pun tiada menghadiri pesta ini (sudah balik Kehel hehe..) so saya pun tidak pasti apa cerita di sepanjang aturcara berlangsung (Masih menunggu laporan & ulasan dari si kawan tu..). But from what i saw, the function must be quite interesting & eventful. The stage & the backdrop are so well decorated and the Unduk winners are so cantik² too. I believe the event was a success and been so well organised. Congratulations to the organizer & all the working committees... Bingkor Lama Buli!!

Suara Emas Bintang RTM 2007

Suara Emas Bintang RTM 2007 bakal melabuhkan tirai tidak lama lagi dan yang bestnya ada 3 orang peserta dari Sabah yang akan berentap dengan 5 orang lagi finalis dipentas Final pada malam 1hb Julai nanti.

Walau pun liputan ataupun 'bahang' pertandingan Suara Emas Bintang RTM ini tidaklah sehebat Akademi Fantasia, One In A Million, Malaysia Idol & yang terbaru Gangstarz, tapi tidak dinafikan pertandingan nyanyian anjuran RTM ini telah banyak melahirkan nama-nama besar & sangat berjaya di persada seni tanahair. Antaranya seperti Jamal Abdillah, Siti Nurhaliza, Nora dan Misha Omar.

Lapan Finalis

Rey, Izzi & Han, ketiga-tiganya kelahiran 'negeri di bawah bayu' bakal menjadi taruhan peminat² seni suara di Sabah untuk muncul sebagai Juara terulung Suara Emas Bintang RTM. Tidak boleh tidak, mesti mau sukung juga..'tulun tokou' baitu hehe. Kalau bukan kita, siapa lagi kan? Sepengetahuan saya belum ada lagi Juara Bintang RTM yang berasal dari Sabah.

Rey & Shah..calon 'favourite' awal

Di antara ketiga² peserta dari Sabah ini, Reynaldo Raymond atau lebih dikenali sebagai Rey dilihat sebagai antara calon 'favourite' awal untuk muncul juara. Pemenang tempat ke-2 'Bintang Kaamatan' peringkat negeri 2006 ini nampak sedikit lebih menonjol berbanding Izzi & Han si sepanjang pertandingan. Ini mungkin kerana keunikan gaya persembahan, suara dan juga personaliti Rey yang urang bilang 'very recognizeable' membuat dia diminati. Siapa² yang pernah tingu dia buat persembahan tau la tu macamana 'style' si Rey tu..especially tu tarian 'trademark' dia hehe..Siok mo tingu.

Apa-apa hal pun, MANANG KALAH TATAP SUKUNG!!! Buli ba kalo ko..

Potentially vs Realistically

A young boy went up to his father and asked him, "Dad, what is the difference between potentially and realistically?"

The father thought for a moment, then answered, "Go ask your mother if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars. Then ask your sister if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars, and then, ask your brother if he'd sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars. Come back and tell me what you learn from that."

So the boy went to his mother and asked, "Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?" The mother replied, "Of course I would! We could really use that money to fix up the house and send you kids to a great University!"

The boy then went to his sister and asked, "Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?" The girl replied, "Oh my Gosh! I LOVE Brad Pitt I would sleep with him in a heartbeat, are you nuts?"

The boy then went to his brother and asked, "Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?" "Of course," the brother replied. "Do you know how much a million bucks would buy?"

The boy pondered the answers for a few days and then went back to his dad.

His father asked him, "Did you find out the difference between potentially and realistically?"

The boy replied, "Yes. Potentially, you and I are sitting on three million dollars, but realistically, we're living with two hookers and a homo."

Infinatez performing at Panggung Anniversary

I was in town yesterday evening to buy contact lenses (almost running out of stock here hehe..). Went to KotaRaya mall to be exact..the cheapest place in the world selling Focus Dailies contact lenses, with only RM45/box of 15 pairs (Kenape..tak perchaye?) Anybody knows any place selling cheaper than this please inform me ya. Every other place is selling like RM70-RM80 per box. Hmm..that's RM35 difference man!

Ok, back to the story..still fresh from Gangstarz hype, i got the chance to watched Infinatez performed at Panggung Anniversay yesterday evening. After checking the details with Alvin a.k.a Defoo, i drove to Lake Gardens. Since i was in Kota Raya at that time, i decided to go and watch la..after all, Panggung Anniversay is only about 10 minutes away.

Infinatez wowed the crowds with 4 songs..Cinta Di Akhir Garisan, Gadis Ayu, Kenangan Terindah & Belaian Jiwa (butul ka tu ah..? hehe..). They did juz great, justifying their selection as one of the 4 Gangstarz finalist..and they did it in a simple, relax and fun way too. Very entertaining indeed. I believe the experience in Gangstarz has made them more 'matured' now.

Gangstarz Finale - 17 June 2007

As expected, Indonesian trio 'The Lima' won the inaugural competition of Gangstarz, another reality TV show singing competition, but unlike other shows, Gangstarz is looking for the best vocal group involving countries like Malaysia, Singapore & Indonesia.

The Lima

Winning the jackpot of USD100,000 in cash prize and a recording contract with KRU Music Group is definitley satisfying for The Lima, after 3 months of grueling competiton, but that was not after a stiff challenges from the other three finalist..Mendua (another Indonesion group), Flava and of coz Infinatez, both from Malaysia. Congratulation The Lima, well done Mendua, Flava & Infinatez!

I was at the stadium for the Final Concert that nite. Very strong crowd of over 10,000 people flooding the venue..konsert Free kan, siapa mau rugi hahaha. Me and my friends were sitting at the 2nd tier of the stadium and i was a bit dissapointed with the quality of the sound systems.

Wah ramai banget bapak² datang ya.. Seru!!

Earlier in the evening, me & my friend went to the stadium to get tickets from Alvin INF a.k.a Defoo (tengkiu Elibin). It was about 2pm and they're all busy doing rehearsal for the finale concert later that nite. So we spent few hours watching them rehearsal sambil lepak² with Evoke (the last group eliminated before the Final Concert). Check out few pictures to share with you guys..
