Weekend with The King of fruits..

It was 4pm on Sunday evening and I was chatting with ZD a.k.a Mr DurianRanau (of coz the topic was about durian) when i suddenly feel like eating one. Since i can't even recall when was the last time I ate durian, so there you are.. off i go to the nearby 'durian stall' which is only 5 minutes drive away from my apartment.

I'm the type of person who is so naive about durian. Ask me nothing about durian but to eat durian hehe.. But i think after some chit-chat with Mr DurianRanau, i'm not that naive anymore haha.

Upon, reaching the durian stall, i ask the 'tauke' to get the BEST durian he got. I have no clue what so ever how to choose a good durian. After some 'tap-tap' & 'smell-smell', 'tauke' recommended me a 2kg D24 durian.. at RM8 per kg (mahal ke murah tu ah..?)

I went back home, open it up, eat..eat..eat. I stop eating on the 8th piece. Burrppp.. so damn full. Can't take it any more. Let my housemates finish it off.

Man Utd Home kit for 2007/08 season

I am watching Man U vs Shenzhen of China right now and the score reads 6-0 after just 60 minutes played with goals from Giggs, Rooney, Nani (newly signed), O'shea, Ronaldo & Chris Eagles. This is the 3rd match of their Asian Tour after a slow start where they drew 2-2 with Urawa Red Diamonds (J-League champion) and won 4-0 against FC Seoul of Korea. They supposed to come to Kuala Lumpur as part of the tour, but unfortunately as we all already knew.. the game has to be called off because of the ongoing Asian Cup here. Can you imagine what will be the scoreline if Man Utd vs Malaysia (*wink wink*)..no comment.

If you notice, Man Utd is already wearing their brand new red jersey for the new EPL season 2007/08 throughout their Asian tour, which is only to be officially launched on August 1st. So i assume, apart from getting a 'warm-up' matches to fine-tune their preparation for the new season.. they are here to also 'showcase' the new look home kit. So here are some pics of the shirt which i believe you can see them in 'pasar malam' very very very very soon hehehe. Check it out!

Ongoing Project-M

M for Money, Menabung, Managing Money, Mengelak pembaziran, Menjana keuntungan, Minimize loss..whatever your interpretation is.. i still think this is a good start towards praticing a good 'saving' habit.

Started by the ever creative & imaginative friend of mine, Mr Defoo last Thursday, i myself not so sure what I've personally achieved in the past 4 days..and for the next 3 days before Project-M ends.

Hmm..let me see, I didnt go to the National Stadium to watch Iran vs South Korea (just watched it on TV)..so i saved on the ticket fare. How much is that? RM10? RM20? What..? That's not counted? Hehe..sowwy. Ok, let's try this one. I didn't go watch Transformer TWICE or THREE TIMES, so I saved RM10 or RM20 if you want. What? That's not counted too arr..? Aiyoyo..

What I'm trying to say here is, even if you only save a few ringgit during the Project-M, it doesn't means that you've failed. Even you don't have any saving at all, for me that's ok, because what is more important is, as long as YOU DON'T WASTE, that should be okay even you have no saving during the past week. Maybe next time you'll save some.

The positive side of this Project-M is it educates you and me to SPEND WISELY. Always think before you buy. Always compare before you buy. And most importantly, only BUY WHAT YOU NEED but NOT WHAT YOU WANT. We heard this before but hey..everybody tends to forget this and thanks to Project-M for reminding me of this. So next time, before you fork out your Money..think Project-M. You've got nothing to lose, but everthing to gain.

Ok lah..for the next 3 days, i'll try my best to save some. Or maybe the other way round, Projek-M for Menjana Keuntungan haha. Sounds more like it huh.. Maybe 'bisnes kecil-kecilan' for a start. At least kalau tidak dapat Menabung, dapat duit pendapatan sikit dari 'bisnes kecil-kecilan' tu pun jadi la, haha. Will tell you more on the business plan later on dude..

With a seemingly ‘impossible’ last match against Iran coming up tomorrow in Group C of the Asian Cup 2007, Malaysian players should put their dissatisfaction and grievances behind them to show that this is where Malaysia football last stand is.

Never mind the heckling or the insults or that there will be no true Malaysian football fans at the stadium tomorrow, for once in their appearance at this Asian Cup this year, the players must prove that they are worthy of playing here.

For in the end, that is what will matter.

Infinatez at IOI Mall, Puchong

Went to IOI Mall, Puchong last Saturday afternoon to collect my tshirt from Defoo, at the same time to catch Infinatez performing at a Charity Show, a fund raising event organised by MPSJ for the 'Tabung Anak Yatim (POHON)'. They had a Bowling Games with the orphanage and later on a performance at the centre stage right outside the bowling centre.

Chaw chin chaw..

It was 12.30 noon and I was enjoying my 'nasi ayam' while reading newspaper during lunch time yesterday at the nearby 'mamak' restaurant... when i noticed (after half of my meals eaten) that some people who passed by were 'making faces' and smiling at me. I feel awkward and 'quickly but quietly' check things out..making sure everthing is okay. And guess what.. I was eating using 'A PAIR OF SPOON'.. Arrrggghhh...Malunya aku!!! Damn it.. So, took a FORK, quickly finish my 'nasi ayam' and chaw lorr...

Ain't it supposed to be a fork and a spoon? Wakakakaka...

Later on I told this to a friend of mine and this was what he got to say.. "apa mo malu.. ko tu urang awam. Lain la kalau ko selebriti" ("nothing to be shy... u are not a celebrity anyway"). Arrgghhh...malunya daku...(nasib baik aku ni bukan 'artis' hehehe..)

Moral of the story:
Never read newspaper while having lunch..muahahaha!!!

After a week of frustration (kehabisan tiket wayang hahaha..), i tried my luck again last Saturday, hoping to get myself tickets for the current blockbuster movies, the 'Transformer' & 'DieHard 4.0'. This time was at Cathay Cineleisure, Damansara (failed in One Utama & KLCC lastweek huhu..).

Got into the Q line around 2pm, and by the time i reached the ticket counter half an hour later, the only available show time for both movies was at midnite & above. I don't care la..juz buy only hehe. So to Ms Kupi & Ms Mandy.. kamu kasi cerita ja la.. Aiman tak kesah..hahaha.. Yess Yess Yess....!!

Never before i watched a 'more than 2-hours' movie, back to back
Check out the time..12:10am & 2:30am hmm..
By the time Transformer ended, it's almost 6am whoaa..crazy!
