Sayang Kinabalu - Acapella version by Infinatez

Malaysian vocal group, Infinatez.. has come out with the acapella version of Sabah's infamous 'Sayang Kinabalu' which was originally written by our very own Asmin Mudin and made popular by the brother, Kimin Mudin.

Infinatez has definitely gave 'Sayang Kinabalu' a new lease of life with their own style of rendition, which i think is very catchy, relaxing and refreshing. Expect to hear it on air in Sabah Radio very soon. For the mean time, you can hear it playing in my Flash Player at the sidebar. Pounsikou Defoo :D

'Sayang Kinabalu' can be considered as a 'teaser' for Infinatez fans, before they come out with something 'bigger'... their much anticipated 'double singles', sometime in February.

So friends, enjoy the song kio..!! Aramaitii..!! :)

"My name is Robert Hawkins. Approximately 7 hours ago, uh..something.. attack the city. Urrm, if you found this, if you watching this, then you know more about it than i do..."

Went out late lastnite to watch 'Cloverfield' (11.55pm show). 5 of us (me, Kuling, Andut, Leo & Danjoe) supposed to go but end up only me and Leo watching (Kuling- kerja OT, Andut-modop, Danjoe-Bizzy, kaka..).

Cloverfield was only the 3rd movie i've watched this year (after Golden Compass & Game Plan) and was the best so far that i would love to recommend it to all my 'movie goers' friends out there.

I found this 'monster-creature' movie which genre is classified as 'Action-Thriller-Suspense' very creative, out of the ordinary & nerve wrecking. Some people might not like it because its filming style (with one hand-held camera, similar to as taking your own 'home videos'). Something like 'The Blair Witch Project' style of filming, but way way better than that one of couse hehe. Salute to J.J. Abrams, the produser and Matt Reeves, the Director.

This creature-featured movie was reported to earn $41 million on its debut weekend in the US, surpassing the previous best for January collection of $35.9 million from the 'Star Wars' special edition in 1997. What an achievement for a movie budgeted at a mere $25 million (that's consider low budget in the US hehe..)

So guys, go watch it tonight.. and tell me what do you think :D (harap² 'taste' kita sama la, if not you will not enjoy it..plus, you'll suffer from 'paning² kepala' coz of the home-video style of filming hahaha..)

Christmas..our way..the 'kampung' way.

As usual, we had our Christmas open house on the 25th Dec. This has been a yearly routine for us since we were kid. It is one of the day where relatives get the chance to meet each other. Also not forgotten are friends..new, old, near or far.

Normally guests start arriving at lunch time, which is around 12.30 noon. Lunch will be served till late evening (special for those late comers hehe) then continue with dinner. Just like any other open houses i've visited (im referring to my 'kampung'), there are always two separate section in the premise. One is where you can find all the food (section A), and the other one is where you can find all the 'drinks' (section B). I called it 'Aramaiti section' hehehe..

Those who had had their meals in 'section A' normally will be invited to proceed to 'section B' where apart from showcasing your drinking prowess, you can also showcase you singing (sumtimes dancing) talent hohoho.. karaoke in the house!!

But no worry friends, even if you're not 'drinking', you are always welcome to the 'aramaiti section' . No obligation, no 'paksa-paksa'. While you still can enjoy your softdrink, i think this is the best place to put into test your 'socializing skill' hehe.. Sober vs not-so-sober talking isn't always easy, if you know what i mean haha..

So, that's briefly how Christmas is celebrated in my 'kampung'. For more 'details', kindly pay your visit to my 'kampung' comes 25th December 2008... 'Diu or No Diu'? Hohohoho..

Below are few pictures taken during Christmas day... when the cameraman is still very much sober hahaha.. Chiao peeps!
