Separuh akhir Muzik Muzik 2007: Pop Rock (Result)

Last night's show was awesome. With nine of the country's best Pop Rock numbers performed by great singers, the show in the Sri Pentas 2 hall has turned into a mini concert..Yeay!! The atmosphere was simply fantastic as the hall packed with those 'die-hard' fans especially those of Siti & Mawi. Not to be outdone were supporters of Sofaz, Jinbara, Jacq, Vince and of coz US (Felix & Rich Estrange hehe..). The 'screaming', the 'sing-along' (barabis sia nyanyi masa lagu Janjiku (Sofaz) hahaha..) and the 'clapping together-gether' makes my 'empty stomach' a.k.a 'kelaparan' vanished for a while. So lucky that we were seated just a couple of rows behind those judges where the view 'very the VIP' gitu haha. Thanks Lester, thanks Velvet hehe..

So, as per result announced last night, here you go,

Separuh Akhir 'Muzik Muzik' 2007 - Kategori Pop Rock

Happy Sunday to all. How's your weekend? Mine is ok, so far so good, except for the defeat of Man Utd semalam..ciss! Btw, tonight me & friends will be at Sri Pentas 2, Plaza Alam Sentral, Shah Alam to watch the above mentioned 'separuh akhir muzik²' where the Pop Rock category will be contested.

What so special on tonite's show is that three of our very own Sabahan artists namely Felix Agus, Fiq Mentor & Rich Estranged will be competing in this category alongside big names like Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Jaclyn Victor, Mawi, Misha Omar/Andy Flop Poppy, Sofaz and Jinbara among others. We will be there to give our support particularly to three of them (terutama si Felix la coz dia bagi siurang tiket hehehe) hoping at least one of them will be selected as the 'Top 5' and advancing to the Grand Finale.

As for tonight's show, i am expecting no less than an ALL OUT performances from all semi finalist and just hope the 'honorary professional judges' will get it right picking the Best of the Best for the Final. Can't wait to watch Siti & Jaclyn Victor belting their voices out tonite woohoo!!

So peeps, make sure to catch the Live show on TV3 tonight at 9pm. I'll try to get some pictures tonight to share with you guys later. Till then, chiao..!!

Today is Monday..

Yo wazzup wazzup..!! It's Monday nite. The time is 8.30pm. Im infront of my laptop blog hopping while having my dinner and watching Buletin Utama at the same time. So lazy to blog (when actually so many things pending to be 'blogged' hehe..). Maybe some other time la.

So what's for dinner tonite? Just wanna share some sandwiches with you..huhuhu. That's all folk..makan lu hehe.

Sekadar hiburan di hari cuti, hehehe:
Pada suatu hari sepasang suami isteri yang agak berusia umurnya sedang dalam perjalanan menuju ke Johor Bahru melalui highway. Tujuan mereka adalah untuk melawat cucu yang baru lahir di sana. Mereka bertolak semenjak subuh lagi. Perjalanan itu agak jauh juga, maklumlah dari Lumut, Perak lah katakan.

Sesampai mereka di perhentian rehat Pagoh, mereka berhenti melepaskan penat memandu. Si suami minum air "PowerRoot" dan si isteri pulak minum air kacip fatimah, nak segarkan mata agaknya tu. Setelah berehat agak lama juga, mereka pun menyambung perjalanan menuju ke JB. Lebih kurang 15minit selepas meninggalkan Pagoh, tiba-tiba si isteri teringat sesuatu lalu berkata,

Isteri: Abahnya, cermin mata saya tertinggal kat tempat makan tadi!!
Suami: Ya Rabbi, awak ni menyusahkan betul la, cermin mata tu pun tak boleh nak jaga, nak kena pusing balik lagi, kena bayar toll lagi, lain kali letak cermin mata atas kepala, baru tak tertinggal. Dah tua makin nyanyuk pulak dia ni.

Si suami terus membebel sepanjang jalan, manakala si isteri terus membisu kerana salah sendiri. Walau macamana pun si suami pusing balik jugak untuk ambil cermin mata si isteri, tapi cuping telinga panas membara kena leter. Bila sampai ditempat tadi si isteri turun tergesa gesa untuk mengambil cermin matanya yang tertinggal. Tetapi tiba-tiba si suami memanggilnya semula.

Suami: Nak pergi mana?
Isteri: Nak ambil cermin mata saya la, apa lagi
Suami:Tolong ambil cermin mata saya sekali, saya rasa tertinggal jugak atas meja tu!
Isteri: ???? @#%$*!?>/&$( %#@#@$%&^%*&^?>&%$#^!@~>

PRTM.. the Masterpiece

It's been 4 days since i went to watch P Ramlee The Musical. And what can i say.. it was awesome, it was magical, it was breathtaking, wonderful, spectacular, incredible, astounding, mind blowing or should i say 'out of this world'! I was blown away.

Okay lah, maybe i am exaggerating things you might say, but at least that was how i felt after watching THAT musical about the legendary Putih Ramlee. The sets, the singing, the songs, the orchestra (lead by Erwin Gutawa), the comedy up to the ensembles, they were all magnificent! But if you ask me to pick one that really REALLY impresses me.. it got to be (without ANY doubt) the SETS. They were amazingly beautiful. I simply do not know how to describe it here. I just love it..!! It's not that the acting, singing & dancing were not good, no, they're great too. But there are still rooms for improvement. But overall, the show was brilliant!! 5 Stars!! Two thumbs up!! I feel lucky..!! Woohoo..!!

I like the opening gambit..

I felt sorry for all my friends and family who missed this musical because i felt that it should be shared with everybody (unfortunately that is impossible). I felt regret myself for watching it only once..huhuhu. The good news is that, there's a great possibility PRTM will be re-run. When? Just crossed your fingers. And when that happen, make sure you don't miss it...again. Last but not least, i dare to say that this 'masterpiece' musical is one of the many TRIBUTEs to P. Ramlee that will be remembered for as long as.. i don't know, hehehe.
