Day Trip to Dinawan Island

I was in KK on the 13th Oct (1 Syawal) which was the first day of Aidilfitri for my nine days Aidilfitri break. I took the 4am flight & was fetched by Ms Kups at KKIA at around 6.30am right after landed. Btw, thank you Leo Fantasia, Dogoes & their friend kerana sudi menghantar daku ke KLIA jam 2am. Buli ba kalau kamurang.. Susah susah aje..

Back in KK, me & Ms Kups had our quick breakfast at Tg Aru, packed my things and off we go to Marina Sutera Harbour jetty to join the rest of the group members for the Dinawan trip. Other than Ms Pelangi, Ms Kups, Ms Clare, Ms Tompok & Ms Jane, the other group members were my 'new friends'. So biasalah, mula² tu ada yg 'shy shy cat' lagi kunun². Tapi diri ku ni macam biasa la, mana pandai malu wakakaka.. duli amat. All together, there were 9 of us.

We departed Marina Sutera Harbour jetty for Dinawan Island at around 9am and reached the beautiful island half an hour later. Upon reaching there, we were treated with our Welcome Drinks before we proceed adventuring around Dinawan. Saya yang 'jarang-jarang' pigi pulau ni apa lagi.. excited berabis la, padahal dari semalam belum tidur..

It's damn hot..

Led by our very own Ms Pelangi, we ventured around the Island.. e.g the beaches, the chalets, the gardens, the so called 'mini crocodile farm', the 'mini-rabbit farm' and also the lagoon which is about 30 minutes walk away from the jetty.





And what make all these activities even more interesting, fun & furious was that, all these venturing around we did it on 'our own risk' and under 'the scorching' sun!! Fuyooo..!! Ini yg pakcik tak bley tahan ni.. Habis sunburn muka & badan pakcik.. Huhuhu.. But still, i really enjoy it.

Oh ya, kami sempat lagi experienced 'an encounter with Mr Snake a.k.a. si ular hijau'. Sampai pengsan si Kups ketakutan.. No la juz kidding hehe.. Semua pun hero & heroin bah. But really, we did see a snake. Apart from the sandflies & 'pikot' attack, no serious injury reported. Bravo..

Finally at the lagoon..



We went back to the resort lobby around noon, cooling down & freshen up ourselves while waiting for the sumptuos buffet lunch to be prepared. Oh ya, kami sempat lagi menyumbangkan beberapa buah lagu di Karaoke Lounge.. Tidak juga rugi, sy sempat dengar si Nel menyanyi wo.. hehe. Sisik tapuk rupanya kau ah.. hehehe..Buli bah kalau kau.

Next was lunch.. and the lunch was simply 'Ummpphhh...!!". Apa tidak.. semua sudah kelaparan setelah penat 'jalan jalan cari pasal' around the island. Ada udang, ketam, sotong, ikan, satay, among others. Sadap wo... tapi sayang, teda 'ikan masin'..hehe.

After lunch we went for snorkeling. It was already around 2.30pm if I'm not mistaken. I really enjoy the part where we feed the fishes with bread. Tidak sedar² sudah berendam dalam air lebih kurang 1 jam. Nasib baik ada time-keeper.. si Pelangi, hehe. Kalau tidak, sampai malam mungkin kami snorkeling hahaha. Oh ya, sempat juga nampak 'lion fish'. Oh ya, Nemo was there too..tapi sombong tidak mau kana kasi suap bread hahaha.. Tiapa kau. Kalau sia dapat sia BBQ kau trus wakakaka..

Later on was teabreak right after everybody change clothes. Last but not least was a tour to the 'underwater aquarium' inside the makeshift 'kapal lama'. Rasa macam di Aquaria KLCC la pulok hehe.. We spent few minutes inside before boarded the awaiting speedboat back to KK. It was almost 5pm and everybody seems tired..but we definetely having fun.
