Live & Loud.. and Crowd!! Wohoo..!!

1st Dec 2007 gotta be one of the most memorable & historic day in my life so far.. as far as Music & Entertainment are concerned. Being among ocean of peoples with the same intention of having fun & good time, witnessing & enjoying MEGA concert, was something that could not be happening very often. It might be a chance of a lifetime! With great artists, GIGANTIC stage.. with Gigantic Screen, ‘heart stopping’ sound systems.. and with more than 10 thousands of people dancing, singing & ‘waving synchronizingly’, the feeling was simply ‘indescribable’.

Thousands of people, old & young, black, white, Malay, Chinese, Indian, Ibans and of course KadazanDusun hehehe.. came united as ONE, enjoying more than 10 hours of great music. Now I understand why people are willing to PAY for this type of ‘entertainment’ for thousands of dollars. It was really worth every SINGLE CENT.. tell you.

If you refer to my previous post, there are lots of artists performing that nite.. but the MAN OF THE NIGHT have got to be Mr Loba Loba..SHAGGY!! Owyess!!! He was the last one to perform before the grand finale show by Whitney Houston. This guy (and his group) was simply awesome.. simply Fantastic! He effortlessly conquered & amazed the crowd in his one ‘energetic’ hour performance. If most of the crowd came to watch ‘auntie’ Whitney (Houston).. they must be very very thankful for ‘Mr Loba Loba’ has SAVED the nite hehe. I’m not saying that Whitney Houston wasn’t good, NO.. but not as good as she was during the ‘The Bodyguard’ era, if you know what I mean. Her one hour show was still great thou.. especially during the ‘I Will Always Love You’ song.. My oh my.. Have you ever heard a choir of 10 thousands people singing together? Hahaha..simply errmm.. I’m speechless :D

Another one hour performance each by Elliot Yamin & Project Pop capped the GREAT nite. With the American Idol star singing right in front of my very eyes.. what else can I say! As Mr LeoFantasia described it.. “dia nyanyi lebih syok dari dalam tv/radio ohh..’ hehe. All the girls went ‘hysteria’ when Elliot made his first appearance on stage. It’s less dancing & jumping, but more singing & grooving to his music, listening to his ‘angel’s voice’. Project Pop was great too. Very entertaining indeed with their very own style of music.. plus their comical act, you can’t help but love them. In case you yet to know them.. just ‘google’ it. Better still, look for ‘Project Pop’ in YouTube hehe.. Other notable local performers on the nite were Nikki, Noryn Aziz, Jaclyn Victor & Anuar Zain.

Concert ended at almost 2am. We were tired & exhausted but definitely very very satisfied. Everybody going home smiling. 11 hours of great music.. can’t ask for more hehe. That was really a LIVE & LOUD..and CROWD!! Woohoo!! Until now I still can’t get rid of the “WOW” atmosphere feelings during the ‘Shaggy Show’.. Amazing!! Bombastic!! Really Fantastic!!
