Last Friday, 9pm - went to Titanium Dance Club in Damansara to give support to Gluteus Maximus, a 5-piece Sabahan band who is down to compete in the Qualifying Heat-1 of GBOB (Malaysia).
Found out about this GBOB thingy from a friend of mine, Kay Kastum Jr, which he himself is the lead singer for the band. Altogether there were 13 bands competing in Heat-1 in GBOB(Malaysia) and only 3 will advance to the national Grand Final.
The newly formed Gluteus Maximus gave a remarkable performance that night but unfortunately they didn’t make it to the Final. Better luck next time dude..

One of the three group that advances to the Final
Ok, continue.. left Titanium around 1am and proceed to the infamous ‘tulun tokou’ karaoke pub somewhere in Setapak, KL where we spend the rest of the night at. Sing, drink & dance..we went back home around 3.30am. Oh ya, ‘survived’ a roadblock on the way back home..pheww!
Saturday was another eventful day. Went to Corus Hotel in KL for the Branded Fragrances & Cosmetics warehouse sale right after lunch. The price of perfumes on sale was ‘unbelievably’ cheap i tell you. The 70% discount signs found in those advertisements/brochures/flyers are definitely not a mere gimmick. I called it a Crazy Sale!
Being a perfume lover, i bought myself 3 new perfumes to add to my personal collections. The three are the Givenchy Gentleman(100ml), the latest Intimately Beckham(30ml) & a 100ml Esencia Loewe (claimed to be David Beckham’s favourite hehe..). i also bought the Adolfo Dominguez Aqua Fresca(120ml) for my mom. Believe it or not, the accumulated price for all four perfumes was only RM246!
Later on, we went to The Curve, Damansara to catch a movie. With no pre-planning on what movie to watch, we end up watching a ‘horror musical’ Malay movie, Susuk. Overall it was not that bad i rate it 7/10. Well above average if i should say.
It was almost 8pm when the movie ended. Had our ‘sumptuous’ dinner at Serdang Perdana before headed to TGV Mines for another movie. Yes, another movie. This time it was the sneak preview of ‘You don’t mess with the Zohan’ starring the ever hilarious Adam Sandler. This is one hell of a movie!! Damn funny i laugh till my tear drops fall..hahahaha..Deym you Zohan!! So guys..go and watch it.
Sunday morning, attended the 9.15am mass at SFA, Cheras. After lunch went to MAHA2008 for a while before went back home at around 6pm. We only managed to cover about 20% of the MAHA2008 exhibition venues we were tired.
In the evening, did my laundry while waiting for Man U’s season opening match against Newcastle. Not so good, match ended 1-1 huhuhu.. Dear Sir Alex, please buy Berbatov ASAP!
Last but not least, here are some pictures taken at the MAHA2008..
