BBKK go east.. to Tawau!

Special thanks to Puteri Ezza for the effort in helping BBKK making a breakthrough in Tawau. And what a great way to do it with a Charity Event. It was the Majlis Mesra Aidilfitri bersama Anak-anak Yatim Arraudhoh,Tawau where BBKK merchandises were part of the 'give away' gift for the orphanage. The remaining of the products were put on sale and the good news is, they were all 'sold out' in less than 24 hours..wah, seru banget sih. Memang buli ba kalau kau Ezza.. haha.

For more details on the event, read HERE.

p/s Bbkk team will be more than happy to give support & collaborate with any individual/group/organisation in organising such charity event in the future.

BBKK
: Goes beyond Friendship

Hectic..but i am happy

The past 10 days (and most probably more days to come) has been super hectic for me. Be it at work/office or after normal working hours. Being involved in projects that need to meet tight dateline is definitely not my cup of tea. In fact, kindda hate it..huhu. i don’t think it is necessary for me to voice it out here, it won’t make things any better anyway. But that’s reality..and reality ‘sucks’ (sumtimes hehe..) but looking from a positive side i am thankful that i still have a day job to ‘cater’ my daily financial needs *smiley*. Btw, it’s not that bad after all.

Having said all that, i actually still have time to hang out with friends, keeping in touch with old friends, get to know new friends (BBKK Friends), watched some good movies like Mamma Mia & Fury, attended friend’s birthday party, had some good badminton matches with my group and just last night, had a futsal training session with my fellow SabahRhinos.com Klang Valley team. Hmm, really not that bad after all, right?

Also for the past month or so, me & Alvin has been made busy with BBKK thingy, which is a good thing i would say. Apart from managing all the incoming orders (new orders coming in every day), we are also in the midst of launching new merchandises, negotiating with potential BBKK dealers from all over, settling some legal & administrative matters, arranging photo shoot sessions, recruiting more talents into BBKK Team and so on. We believe all these will be made possible with the help & support of our beloved BBKK friends all over..we THANK YOU guys!

Ok lah, it’s time to get back to work. Today is Thursday..tomorrow is Friday..next is WEEKEND. Have a nice day..

BBKK: Back to Nature..The trip to Bukit Tabur

Date: 1st October 2008

Destination:
Bukit Tabur, Gombak. Selangor.

Participants:
GuRaNgAk,
Gerald, Danjoe, LeoFantasia & Ijay

Objectives:
Excursion, fresh air, self endurance, gain experience, great view, self belief, mental strength etc.

Pastikan angin cukup sebelum panjat bukit..
Periksa semua kelengkapan agar mencukupi.

Sementara muka masih segar & berseri²,
pastikan beraksi depan lensa sedozen dua..

ekonomi negara pun. Di samping itu ia juga baik sebagai
senaman ringan sebelum mula memanjat.

Walau apapun terjadi..Jangan Pandang Belakang!

Cekalkan hati, teguhkan semangat..teruskan usaha menuju puncak. Hendak seribu daya, TAK NAK lah merokok sambil panjat bukit kan..hmm. Keep going dude..!!

Keringat yang mencurah bukanlah alasan. Letih lesu itu lumrah mendaki. Walau apa pun rintangan & halangan..pose tetap pose.

Ikut hati mati..ikut rasa binasa. Kalau penat tu, bawa-bawa la berehat.
Bukan tujuan mencari JUARA bukit.
Tiada pengalah semua pemenang..

Hidup mesti senyum..
And the world will smile back at you..i hope so.

Nun jauh di sana kelihatan 'hutan konkrit' kota metropolitan.
Udara segar, nyaman di sini..bukan macam di sana.
Rehat sebentar ya pak..

Usaha tangga kejayaan.
Puncak Bukit Tabur berjaya juga di tawan.
Buli ba kalau kau!!

Kehijauan panorama menyegarkan mata..menenangkan minda.
Andai ku boleh terbang bagai rajawali..

Nun jauh di sana kelihatan 'pusat peranginan' bertaraf dunia..
Genting Highland.

Merenung masa depan yang tiada kepastian..
Menikmati keindahan alam semulajadi..
atau mungkin juga meredakan keletihan..
Di mana 100 Plus aku!!??

Puas hati..mau yang lebih tinggi?
Cukup la untuk hari ini..Penat siutt.

Owyess!! We made it!!
Buli ba kalau kita!!

Nun jauh kelihatan Genting Highland

Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur

You must be joking
You jump..I jump
Go ahead dude..I watch.

Walau keletihan melanda..
kepuasan terserlah
Go ahead you paparazzi..

Kami penat, kami mau pulang

Perjalanan turun bukanlah semudah yang di sangkakan
Silap langkah..padah!
Palis²..jauh²!!

Uji fizikal..uji minda..Cabaran disahut.
Bolos saja diri anda..Redah je..!!

Sang unggas kesepian

Sang unggas kepenatan
Tiada sebarang kecederaan dilaporkan..Syabas!

BBKK: It's all about friends & friendship..

Defoo is currently in Sabah for his Aidilfitri break. Few days before Raya, he managed to meet up with some of our friends in KK. Ironically, that was the first time Defoo meeting most (if not all) of them, in person. Prior to that, they only know each other via the Internet..and yes, of course thru BBKK :)

On behalf of the BBKK Team.. We thank you ALL for the support!!

Here are some of the stories and pictures from our friends’ blogs..telling everything that happened behind the scenes. Check these out:

Defoo, Kuai & Zi even managed to organise a day trip to Ranau to do 'bbkk concept photoshoot'. It was actually unplanned..but the outcome was superb! Well done guys!

Journey to the top..Mt Kinabalu

Last month, on the 29th of August, I set foot once again in Kinabalu Park, Ranau, after an 11 years lapse. I was off..off to conquer Mt Kinabalu again, for only the second time in my life. It was kindda a very last minute arrangement I only made up my mind less than a week before the trip. Clearly, I was not really in the right frame of mind to climb, and I can say I was less than 50% ready..physically & mentally.

Knowing so well that it’s not very often to get hold of this ‘golden opportunity’, I rescheduled my flight (I suppose to fly back to KK on the 30th) to 29th, did a last minute shopping for all my climbing gears, packed my things and..holla..!! I am all ready.. (not really, I forgot the head lamp huhu..)

To cut a long story short, here some photos to serve as my trail log (click picture to enlarge).

29th August 2008

Geoffery, Remy & me..minutes after landed at KK T2 airport. It was already near 8pm. We were fetched by Remy's sister (and her friend). Bought some 'refreshments' at Kingfisher before they drove us straight away to Kinabalu Park.

We reached Kinabalu Park at 10pm and merged up with the rest of the group. We were welcome with a very nice BBQ meals which we happily accepted with an 'open stomach' hahaha.. Except for Geo & Remy, the rest were all 'new friends' to me. My first time meeting them. But that was not a problem, because in no time we were all eating, drinking, exchanging stories & laughing together as though we’ve known each other for so long. It was that easy if you have a bunch of sporting people.

We stay in Liwagu Lodge on the first night. The lodge was not that bad at all..

30th August 2008

I received my tag and I am all excited!!
I can't remember receiving such tag the last time i climbed.

In jovial mood.. at Timpohon Gate. All the best guys..

Almost half way to reach Laban Rata. There was a Korean guy who fell down on his way to summit. He was brought down in a stretcher by a group of rescuer for further treatment.I hope he is all fine and get well soon.

It was raining for few minutes when we about to reach Pondok Layang-Layang. But apart from that, the weather has been very kind to us for the better part of our journey.

Breathtaking view. I was in no rush to reach Laban Rata as I took time to cherish every moment and steps of my journey.

31st August 2008

Hopefully the sumptuos buffet dinner we had the night before will provide enuff energy for the climb to the summit. All the best to you and me..hehe.

My happy...and freezing face at the peak

Not even in my wildest dream did think of celebrating Merdeka on top of Mt Kinabalu haha..

We spent a good half an hour at the top before descending back to Laban Rata.
Can be seen in the picture, me and our guide.

I feel so small..even for the 2nd time, the view, the peace, the coldness up there still amaze me..i was speechless i almost cry..huhuhu.

Awesome! Amazing! Perfect..!!

Enjoying the coldness at Sayat-sayat. And yes..that the BBKK shirt i was wearing hahaha..'kewl' wasn't it?

Again, enjoying every moment & every steps on our way down. The scenery was simply breathtaking..

After breakfast, took a group picture at Laban Rata. So sad it's about time to leave.

After another two and a half hours journey, we reached Kinabalu Park around 11.30am. Had a simple 'certificate presentation' ceremony before i left for Keningau.

Overall, the trip was very enjoyable & fantastic if I shud say. I was having a great time. To all my group members, a million thanks for inviting me to join the trip. You guys are wonderful and I am looking forward to climb together again. To all my dear friends out there, appreciate if you can ‘buzz’ me if there is such a trip you guys are organizing..i will be more than happy to join (if the time is right hehe..).

Till then, I leave you with a song.. “Tinggi tinggi gunung Kinabalu..Tinggi lagi sayang sama kamu..Biru-biru hujung Kinabalu, tengok dari jauh..Hati saya RINDU..” (Yang lain kamu sambung lah sendiri hahaha..)
