The 5D4N trip to Phuket (Thailand’s largest island), also known as the Pearl of the Andaman Sea was great. Although it was a bit too long some might say, but i think it was okay since we have ample time to venture every corner of Patong town, plus, sufficient time for us to do our shopping at a very relaxing & comfortable pace.

The Royal Paradise Hotel was the place we stay. It’s a four star hotel located within the vicinity of Patong town. We spent the first day just lazing around town since it was already 5.30pm when we reached hotel.

Weather in Phuket is about the same as in Malaysia. Other than the language and the 1 hour time difference (GMT +7), everything looks & feels pretty much the same. Patong town is not as developed as most cities in Malaysia although they do have one big & beautiful shopping mall, the Jungceylon.
Reaching Patong just before dusk gave us the chance to witness the ‘transformation’ of Patong town..from the ‘quiet & innocent’ look streets (daytime), to a ‘live & loud’ streets (night time). It was so happening you can see thousands of ‘sunburnt’ tourist patronizing the many bars & clubs. There were pubs with live bands if you are into live music as well as those with DJs spinning house music..all night long.
Encounter with ‘ladyboy’ dressing up like ‘divas’ trying to lure customers along the streets is a common scene here. If you come to Phuket and ask ‘where can i find ladyboys?’, the answer is ‘they will find you!’ hahaha.. Just look for a tall and pretty girl with large breasts, it is a big chance she is a ladyboy..kekeke.

All i can say is nightlife scene in Phuket is very much ‘alive & kickin’..and it was only our FIRST night out hehe..
