Divorce, Custody and Pepsi Cola..

A man and his wife were getting a divorce at a local court, but the custody of their children posed a problem.

The mother jumped to her feet and protested to the judge that since she had brought the children into this world, she should retain custody of them.

The man also wanted custody of his children, so the judge asked for his side of the story. After a long moment of silence, the man rose from his chair and replied: 'Judge, when I put a dollar into a vending machine, and a Pepsi comes out, does the Pepsi belong to me or to the machine?'

Don't laugh, he won!

Have A Nice Weekend peeps.. :)

And my vote goes to the OPPOSITION..!!!

TANJONG DAWAI: Pakatan pembangkang berjanji akan menurunkan harga minyak sebaik diumumkan memenangi pilihan raya umum ini.

Penasihat Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim berkata, "hari ini (8 Mac) kita diumumkan menang, esok (9 Mac) kita umumkan penurunan harga minyak."

Out of city..

Been out of KL since 20/02/08. Outstationed to Kuantan to be exact. Might return to KL office hopefully on Tuesday (fingers crossed). Apart from the daily routine of sites visit, there are not much 'interesting' happenings that worth sharing here. Spent most of my spare 'after work' time in the hotel's room watching tv & surfing the net, thanks to the free Wifi provided (signal strength is excellent you know..even on the 5th floor). I did actually go out once to treat myself with few songs mugs of 'refreshment' at bar nearby. Went to cinema once to watch 'Jumper' (how i wish im a JUMPER..that would be so kewl hehe..) & attended Sunday Mass this morning at St Thomas, Kuantan. Thanks God the church is merely 50 metres away from the hotel. Back to my room right after mass and watch/surf/rest all day long. Since today is the Nomination Day nationwide for the upcoming General Election 2008, so as expected, it's all about it on TV.. politics politics and more politics news. 'Sms'ed dad & brother in Keningau to inquire the current update on the nominated candidates back there. Dad called to feed those info..and among others notable breaking news 'worth mentioning' here are:
  • Datuk Pairin Kitingan(PBS) will be contesting his very own younger brother, Dr Jeffery Kitingan (PKR) for the Keningau Parliamentary seat (P180). Isn't that kewl? :) Sure tiada gaduh² punya kan.. ermm..are we sure? Hehe..

  • Datuk Joseph Kurup won the Pensiangan Parliamentary (P182) seat 'Uncontested'. Later on, on their way back from the nomination centre, they (Datuk Joseph Kurup & his group) were assaulted (beaten & car stoned) by the opposition supporters. My brother said, Mr Kurup & the gang were sent to Keningau Hospital for treatment. Ooh la la..sampai macam tu sekali kah..? Later on, i search in the Net and found this)

That's all for now peeps, it's time to hit the sack :) Have a great week ahead!

Sick & tired..

Currently am not really in the pink of health.. For the next few days i will need to consume 'that' much of those colourfull pills per intake, three times daily. That means, 7 x 3 = 21 pills per day. What a way to kick-start my week. Thanks doc!

Get well soon to me. Can't wait to be 'alive & kickin' again..
Happy Monday peeps.. :)

The break I rightfully deserve..Part II

There’s actually nothing much left to be told here on the Manukan trip. All that I can say is that I’m loving it whenever there’s such activities like this. Yeah, I’m the kind of person who loves outdoor activities very much be it a pre-planned or simply an impromptu event. I guess it is just a natural built-in passion in me being a Sagittarius guy. I’ve tried almost everything (well I guess so hehe) from white water rafting, jungle-trekking, hiking and of course scaling the one and only Mt Kinabalu, but having said that i am not contented with all those past experiences. I want more, more and more.. even if that means going back to the same old place as I believe each trip is unique (different time, different group members, different weather etc.) If you know what I mean haha.. Ever wonder why some people go climb Mt Kinabalu even for the 8th time?

For the record, i went to Dinawan Island in October last year. We are supposed to go to Pulau Tiga but then the plan has to be scrapped due to bad weather condition. Then in November I single-handedly organized a 3D 2N trip to Pulau Langkawi but this time it was exclusively for my family members only (my parents, my siblings, my in-law and of course my ‘notty-cuties’ nieces and nephew). I spent about RM10K for the trip and thanks God it turned out to be a great outing for us that it worth every cent spent. Definitely one of the major satisfaction in life so far for me indeed. Then comes this Manukan Trip. Next is what? Hmm.. Mabul/Sipadan island I guess. Insyallah..

So here are SOME ‘left-over’ pics during our Manukan trip. Please bear with my ‘SOME’ ok hehe..

The break i rightfully deserve.. Part 1

It’s been 5 days since my last post and as ‘blur’ as ever, I don’t know where, what or how should I start. How I wish I could sum up my ‘6 days 5 nights’ Chinese New Year break in just one word that can describe everything. Hmm..that’s almost impossible I think.

So I guess I will just take the easy way out, post SOME (mark my some ah, hehe..) pictures and let them tell all the stories. Smart me huh? Padahal malas ni..hehehe. But no worry pare, coz as they said, picture tells a thousand stories

I took the evening flight to KK on the 6th, landed around 10pm before being fetched by ‘kawan sehidup sematiku’, Ms Kupi. Later had my late dinner at Tg Aru Beach (oh ya, sempat lagi berkenalan sama si Usal Jon Gavis di sana) before checked-in at the Hotel Carlifornia..opps, I mean ‘Taman Raja’ Hotel (sepa tau diam² ah). Right after that was ‘light & easy’ session with Jr, Mesh, Jerry, Gidong & of coz si Kupilicious. Light & easy it was ‘indeed’.. hmm… Hindi ko alam! Padahal the next morning mau pigi island hip-hoping lagi tu. Matai na.. Siapa bah tu yang pi jemput si Mr Chivas tu ah?

The next morning was a trip to Manukan Island. All together there are 11 of us. We departed Jesselton Point jetty at about 11am (ada rancangan tergendala ‘sebenter’) and arrived Manukan almost noon. Get our ‘landing spot’, unpacked all the delicious ‘potluck’ foods, get down and apa lagi..makan lerr. The food was so nice everybody seems enjoying every bit of it.

Deep inside I was feeling so impressed and touched at the same time by the efforts taken & cooperation given by those who had prepared the food. I know it’s not easy to wake up early in the morning (which was supposed to be a ‘rest day’) and prepared all those wonderful food. My BIG thanks to all.. Kupi, PS, Clarice, Hiromi, Sumpit, Mr Smallville, Jr, Mesh, Duffy & Gidong.

After had our lunch, it’s leisure time! No pre-planned activities its Free & Easy. Basically it’ s everything about ‘beaching’..e.g photo, swim, snorkel, photo, more photo, food, ‘cuci-mata’, photo, ‘main timbun² pasir’, cuci mata, play ball, play boy, play girl, and so on and so on. And what did I get from all these? You guess right! Sunburn! Hahahaha.. Who cares..i dun give a deym (at all)! After all, i am having lots of fun, i get to know my friends better, plus i made some new friends too. Isn't that great. Bak kata orang kampong, kalau takut dipukul ombak, jangan berumah di tepi pantai..chewah.

We stopped activities at 2.30pm, took shower, packed our stuffs & headed back to the jetty. Boarded our boat back to KK at 4pm. Oh ya, it was not really a boat ride back home.. you can call it 'roller coaster' ride. Pucat sudah muka Gidong masa naik bot balik kk tu..siapa suruh bagus² lifejacket pigi bikin alas tempat duduk..hmm, no komen. Palis palis jauh jauh! Tapi memang 'Kurang Asam' la tu driver bot tu.. Awas ko lain kali ah!

So guys, here are SOME pictures to tell you the thousand stories. Check it out..

Gong Xi Fa Chai..

Today is Chinese New Year eve… and 99% of my Chinese colleague (including all big bosses a.k.a directors) have already started their week long leave. In fact some started as early as yesterday. For me, here i am in this quiet & peaceful (hehe..) office, counting seconds before leaving to airport at 5pm. Not to be left behind, I’m taking this opportunity to go back hometown to be with family & friends.

Before the lion starts dancing and firecrackers go ‘Bam Bam Boom Kebaboom!!’, I would like to wish all my Chinese friends, doesn’t matter whether you have 100%, 80%, 50% or only 15% Chinese blood in you, as long as you are celebrating it.. a very ‘Happy Chinese New Year’. May the year ‘Rat’ brings you and your family more happiness, more prosperity & good health all through the years. Hoyehh..!!

The Husbands Store..

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!

There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch. ... You may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. .

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:
Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking.
" Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead good looking and help with the housework.
"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:

Floor 5
- These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that 'women are impossible to please'. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

Ha ha ha, just for fun peeps.. Have a nice 'quiet' day today.. :D
