Aku Stacy

Had dinner with makhluk Tuhan paling seksi Stacy on Saturday night a couple of weeks ago. As per requested, we bring them (Stacy & her sister, Cherry) some ‘makanan kampung’ a.k.a Sabah traditional food, just enough for five of us (myself, Leo, Mr Dogoes, Stacy & Cherry).

It was kinda last minute plan thus we only managed to prepare few dishes. Mr Dogoes was the chief cook while me and Leo being the helper or assistants chief cook to be exact hehehe.. Done with all the cooking at around 8.30pm. Drive to Stacy’s house and reached there minutes before 9pm. Just on time for dinner..

While waiting for dinner to be served, i tried my luck to ‘kidnap’ Stacy’s winning trophy but backed off when she starts crying and screaming hehehe... Maybe next time kekeke..

It was my first time meeting Ms Cherry, but it seems like we’ve known each other for so long (ehem..ehemm..oppss..telebey!!). She’s so friendly that in no time we (i mean all of us owkay..) were all like brothers & sisters.

Being us..there are still time for ‘cam-whoring’ even though we are so hungry like horse already hehe. You can see here a special pose by Stacy & Cherry. Don’t you think they make a perfect models for the ‘Buli Bah Kalau Kau’ t-shirt hahahaha..kidding.

So what’s for dinner? Among others, we had ‘lada putih goreng ikan masin’, ‘kangkung goreng belacan’, ‘sup nangka + ikan masin’, ‘kacang bendi + sambal belacan’, tuhau and also ‘bosou’ ikan..and of course some ‘refreshments’ for the ‘after dinner’ session..if you know what i mean :)

p/s For the benefit of those non-Sabahan who has difficulty understanding the 'food' names, kindly refer to any of your Sabahan friends, ok..hehe.

Oh ya, Nubhan & Ika were there too. They're so sporting they sings few songs for us too.. Nubhan really got a nice 'one of a kind' voice. Wish i can sing like him hahaha...in my dream!

But still..Stacy's the best. Here is her picture singing 'No One' by Alicia Keys. The first ever song she sang in AF concert which undoubtedly the one that unleashed the STAR in her.

We were having so much fun singing along & watching her 'jokingly' dancing to all the songs.. Dusun songs, English songs, Malay songs..and we even sing Christmas songs (ala² Mariah Carey gitew hahaha). But among all songs, I still like her singing 'makhluk Tuhan paling seksi' hehehe..

With little sister..Stacy

The time is already 4am when we finally making our way back home. All the best to you Stacy.. Keep believing in yourself and all the best to you.. Buli bah kalau kau!!

Recuperating..have a nice weekend!

I just woke up..and thanks God it’s Saturday. Sleep at 6am this morning, thanks to the Croatia vs Turkey match that was dragged right to the penalty shootout to decide the rightful winner (stalemate at 1-1 after extra time). What a match it was. Great Turkey...determination & fitness (physically & mentally) prevail!!

It’s Euro2008 fever, eat-sleep-watch football..what else to do? It is now down to the last eight and so far the excitement (great matches, dramas, upsets & shocking results) were immense.. Owyess! I’m loving it.

Hmm, wait a minute..it’s been 9 days since my last post here (and you still call your good self a ‘blogger’ ka GuRaNgAK?). Never ever i consider myself one okay..hahaha. I am taking my own sweet time, and sweet time it was..indeed, hehehe. Opss..telebey!

I was not really in the mood to blog since i came back from my Phuket trip early this month. It’s been a deym hectic month for me so far. Worst still when there are so many kewl stuffs to share with all of you yet no time so lazy to do so, wah.. Maybe this is just another side effect of the increase fuel price on me hahaha..nonsense.

Anyway, i am recuperating now.. Have a great weekend ahead peeps..chiao!

Here are pictures of us having fun during our trip to Mabul/Sipadan last month.

Missing Girl..help needed

MISSING
Helena A. Hairy, 17

Distressed parents Hairy Lojimin, 53 and Rosnie Majamin, 49, are pleading to the public to help find their daughter who disappeared about a year ago.

Their youngest child Helena (pictured), now 17, was last seen leaving her aunt’s house in July last year to meet her friends in the city.

She never returned home after that. Hairy, a Menggatal resident, said his daughter used to live with her aunt when she was in Form Four. “We do not know why she did not come home.

We never had any heated argument but if we had offended her in any way, we would like to say sorry…we just want her to come home,” he said. Hairy said he has already lodged a police report on Helena’s disappearance.

Anyone who knows Helena’s whereabouts can contact Hairy (013-8720697) or Rosnie (012-8306510) or her elder sister Rozita (016-5853566). – By JOSEPH JUPIOL

Happy Kaamatan 2008

It’s May 31 today, and it marks the end of a month long celebration of ‘Pesta Kaamatan’ state wide in Land below the Wind, Sabah. I believe many of you, not only those in Sabah but also those residing in the Peninsular Malaysia have attended a ‘Pesta Kaamatan’ celebration at least once this year. Tidak kira la peringkat kampung ka, peringkat mukim ka atau pun peringkat daerah. As for me, i've got the chance to attend the Klang Valley’s Harvest Festival celebration held in Flamingo Hotel at Jalan Ampang. But i will definitely miss the National Level ‘Harvest Festival’ to be held in Pusat Kebudayaan Penampang, Sabah..which is also the pinnacle of this month long festival.

People of Sabah are surely having a great time as 30th & 31st of May are public holidays..which means a long weekend in store for them..huh jelesnya bestnya.. So whatever it is you are planning to do during the long break, at least do not ever forget the essence of this unique annual cultural celebration which is to honour the Spirit of Rice, the Bambaazon or Bambarayon and to give thanks to God for yet another bountiful year.

So before semua urang kalapik it is too late, i would like to wish everybody a Happy Kaamatan. Have a great weekend peeps and please do not drink & drive.. Aramaitii..!!

Mean while, for those Unduk Ngadau contestants vying for the prestigious huminodun title today, wishing all of you the best of luck..siapa² yang pi tingu tu, tulung kasitau result kio hehe..

Stacy Juara Akademi Fantasia 6.. Buli bah kalau kau!!

So the ‘jinx’ has been broken.. After Linda Nanuwil(AF2), Felix(AF3) & Lotter(AF4) came close by winning 2nd place, the long awaited dream to see a Sabahan being crowned ‘Juara Akademi Fantasia’ is finally over. Congratulation Stacy!! Congratulation to all voters!! Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done! Congratulations!! Congratulations!! Congratulations!! Alamakk..terlebih sudah!

After enduring 10 gruelling weeks with lots of tasks and assignments, Stacy came out top, winning the 6th edition of AF in style. Winning in style indeed when she managed to gets 43% of the overall votes in the final leaving Riz a far cry second with only 19% votes. A record breaking feat not even Mawi (AF3) can match. To Simon Cowell.. this is what you called a ‘KNOCKED OUT’.. hehe.

We were there last night at the stadium to witnessed and be part of the history. Stacy’s triumph was nevertheless expected and never in doubt since day one she’s in the academy. The roar and support given by the audience in the stadium was clear evidence of it. Even though Riz FC tried hard to match it but..to no avail hehe.. ape kehe nyer yeop? The atmosphere in the arena last night was simply electrifying and awesome..i got goose bump.

I’m not going to write about the concert in details i believe most of you have watched it. Personally i really like the new songs by Riz(Hanya Sandiwara), Nubhan(Ada Untukmu) and of coz Stacy (Aku Stacy). Credit goes to all (new) composers. I bet these three songs will be a chart topper very soon. I think the opening act of Adam featuring Evoke was great as well as the introduction of ‘para pengkritik’ where they each get to sing a song.. Adlin was kewl, Ning was awesome and Ogy was..ermm.. ‘sudah kahwin kah belum’..entertaining hehe.. I lyke.

Overall, i think last night was one of the best local concert i’ve been to. The crowd, the music, the songs selection, the stage..all were great. Well done Astro..

Later after concert, we managed to catch up with Stacy to personally congratulate her. She was the centre of attention, she was the Star of the Night..an yet she is still as humble & playful as i first met her last year.. This is just the beginning.. All the best to you girl!!

Last but not least, some pictures to share with you guys..
