Ok, let’s continue with the city tour on day two. The time was already 1.20pm when we left Phuket Snake Farm to our next ‘pit stop’ which is the Kinnaree elephant camp.
Phuket Snake Farm & Kinnaree Elephant Camp were both located in Phuket Entertainment Park, and among other exciting places & activities available here are the Phuket Monkey School, Phuket Shooting Range as well as Paint Ball & ATV riding (for those who are more adventurous). Because of time constraint, i only managed the elephant ride.
My first time to try elephant trekking and the 30 minutes ride, crossing through river and rubber plantation was simply an amazing experience.
Our next stop was to the Chalong temple, also well known as Wat Chalong. It is the largest of the many temples in Phuket and also the most visited. It is a big place with at least 5-6 temples around including the main temple, with statues of monks inside. The surroundings was so calm, quiet & peaceful, you can see people come to pray, to apply gold leaf on the statues, to light incense and candles, etc.
After a good 40 minutes wandering around the temples, we move on to our next destination, which is the infamous Methee Cashew Nut factory. In the factory, we were shown the processes of producing various cashew nuts based products. But the best part was the ‘tasting session’ where we get to try out almost all the products on sale..before decided which one to buy. Yummy yummy.. There were so ‘yummy’ indeed, we ended up spending more than RM100 each buying those products haha.. Btw, the prices are very reasonable and worth it since you are getting fresh and ‘high quality’ products.
Our last destination for the day was a visit to Gems Gallery Phuket, the world’s biggest jewellery store. Upon arrival we were treated with a welcome drink before we proceed to the amphitheatre for a short video clip presentation. Right after that we were brought to the main gallery, where you can find all kind of jewellery, everything in diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, topaz, beautiful pearls as well as gold & silver. On the way to the gallery we passed by the section where goldsmiths were at work. The girls in our group were busy looking for jewellery for themselves. I bought a white gold pendant for my mom.
After a long fun filled day, we finally made our way back to the hotel around 5pm. While the rest of the group headed straight back to the hotel, me & Mr Jun decided to stopped by a massage centre to treat ourselves with a 2 hours full body massage to freshen up our tired body. The masseur was so good, the air-conditioned room was clean and nicely decorated, and the surroundings aroma was indeed very relaxing & refreshing. Its only cost me RM50 for the entire 2 hours session. Can’t get enuff of this..Owyess!!
We were back to the hotel room at around 8pm, get some rest before picking up where we left off last night..clubbing la apa lagi hehehe!! For the rest of the night, i leave it to your ‘wild’ imagination ukk..ukk..
Ok, here i are some already censored photos to share with you guys..
